Teaching
On the following pages, I have supplied a variety of materials across classes that I teach. While some of it is original, much of it has been pulled together from a variety of sources and edited for how I like them (I try to give credit where credit is due).
My goal with posting these materials online is that others are able to use these while teaching their own classes.
When using these materials, I ask a few things:
1. I do not post copies of my exams and quizzes online (for obvious reasons). However, if you, as an instructor, wish to have a copy of those materials as you craft your own testing materials, I would be more than happy to provide them for you. Also, I don't post my syllabi on my website for distribution outside of the semester in which the course is taught (I'm constantly tweaking them for both clarity and content). However, like exams and quizzes, if you wish to have a copy of them as a reference, I am more than happy to provide those as well.
2. If you can think of a way to improve these materials, spot an error, etc., please let me know! I want these materials to be as accurate as possible, as well as incorporate ideas to improve the effectiveness of the materials. Given that one role of an instructor is to guide students to the truth, I want my materials to be as accurate as possible.
3. Finally, please provide a reference noting that these slides came from me. Even if it's simply a short reference at the bottom of an assignment or in the bottom corner of a single slide in a PowerPoint, it would be much appreciated. If it's easier for you, you may also direct students to the following pages to collect/view the materials themselves.
If you do use any of my material, please shoot me an email letting me know! I love making new connections, and I'd love to get feedback from your students on how the material could be improved.
